Safetica NXT

The content of the Shadow IT section was reorganized to simplify the admin's job during Shadow IT management and to exclude users' personal activities from the main focus. The new structure is divided into two tabs:

Company activities: The main view displayed by default. It shows core activities requiring primary focus by the admin, i.e. applications and websites with significant usage.

Personal activities: Activities not directly tied to the company's business. These might include users' personal activities bound by personal privacy controls which should be approached with caution.

The Dashboard section has a new tile representing changes in Shadow IT for the given time period.

In Settings, you can connect the company Azure Active Directory (AAD) with Safetica NXT and gain info about all domain users and user groups.

Safetica NXT provides complete info from smart analysis inside the risk reason tooltip. It shows the results from all evaluated sections.

Analysis of event records is simplified thanks to redesigned icons for the most common file types.

Safetica NXT
- A partner can switch between available customers' environments using the customer name in the header of the page. This allows them to maintain all available environments without having to access the Safetica HUB.
- Safetica NXT automatically removes the NEW status from an app or website activity when the user manually changes the risk status. This way, the admin can easily recognize which new additions were categorized and still require attention.

You can access particular HUB identities faster thanks to added search.
- Customer environments are now deployed faster thanks to pre-built environments that are always ready in the background and can quickly meet requests from the Safetica HUB or when registering a TRIAL on Safetica website.

- Safetica NXT is newly able to audit email channel on macOS, but it is limited to the native macOS email app. Safetica detects when the extension that allows the audit is missing and informs the admin about this in the Devices section with a tooltip and a knowledge base article in the device detail.

- The Applications and websites section was renamed to Shadow IT to emphasize its primary goal and value. The admin can easily audit the software catalog of the company and maintain information about unwanted applications or websites. Thanks to our smart analysis and automated risk detection, this becomes a super-easy job 👍
- The Workspace section was renamed to Destinations to emphasize its main goal. The admin can easily organize all data destinations as either safe or untrusted, optimize automated risk categorization processes, or scale custom protection policies.
- Users can generate the Security Audit Report right in the Safetica NXT console in the Dashboard section. The report has identical design and content as the Security Audit Report available in the Safetica HUB. It shows info from a predefined time period which is 30 days.

The Data classification section has been updated and now provides:
- A new set of predefined data classifications aimed at the most common regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.)
- Update of existing predefined data classifications (Personal, Healthcare, Finance)
- New rules in the library -> we have over 300 templates available at the moment across 65 countries
- Safetica NXT automatically detects categories of risky applications or websites (Encrypted messaging, FTP clients, Screenshots capture, SSH clients, P2P file sharing)
- The User behavior section shows the number of suspicious events in the main table to emphasize user behavior anomalies. Click the value to retrieve detailed information.
- Safetica NXT shows the last user of every detected USB destination in the Workspace section to help the admin assign the destination either as untrusted or as safe faster.

- The event detail newly contains the file name. You can also quickly filter the file's whole history.
