Broken certificate on a website after installing Safetica

Information in this article applies to Safetica ONE 10 or older.

In some cases, your web browser can start reporting issues with a web certificate after installing Safetica, typically on an internal server, CRM, ADFS server, etc. This is typically caused by Safetica’s SSL certificate that’s put in place when monitoring SSL traffic. To solve this you can turn off integration into SSL communication with the server:

  1. Open Safetica Management Console.
  2. Go to Maintenance > Integration settings > Trusted servers.
  3. Add here the URL (server) that is reporting the certificate issue.
  4. Wait for the configuration to synchronize (~10 minutes) and restart the browser.

These settings will be applied to the whole network.
