How to change the password for Safetica console

All admins who work with Safetica console can change their own password

Accounts with the Settings and configuration permission can change the password of any account in Settings > Accounts and permissions.

All accounts, regardless of their permissions, can change their own password to Safetica console.

To change the password to your own Safetica console account:

  1. Click your avatar in the top right corner.
  2. In the drop-down menu, click Change password. 

The process differs based on whether you purchased cloud-hosted Safetica or Safetica hosted on-premises.

For cloud-hosted Safetica:

  1. After clicking Change password, you will be forwarded to Azure Active Directory password change.

For Safetica hosted on-premises:

  1. After clicking Change password, a new dialog window will open.
  2. Enter both your current password and your new password. To see your passwords in plain text, click the eye icon on the right.

Safetica console check for sufficient complexity of the new password. The password must be at least 12 characters long (max 256 characters) and contain at least:

  • 1 upper case and 1 lower case letter
  • 1 special character (blank space is not allowed as a special character)
  • 1 number

  3.  Click Save and start using your new password.
