How to collect troubleshooting logs from Outlook add-in

Learn to collect the necessary logs when troubleshooting issues with Outlook add-in.

If you are experiencing issues with Outlook protection / Outlook add-in, such as emails not being audited or blocked correctly, please follow these steps: 

  1. Open Outlook and click New mail.

  2. Click the Enhance Outlook with apps icon and then click Email protection for Safetica.

  3. This will open the override pane.

  4. The Get logs button is hidden by default.

  5. To display it, select a reason in Reason for overriding the policy and type #getlogs in Additional description (optional). Then click the Get logs button.

  6. Upload collected logs to upload.safetica.com
