The notification emails are sent to the email address given during onboarding and to every admin with the Settings and configuration permission.
What happens after license expiration
In Safetica console, banners and dialogs will inform you that your licenses are expired and that Safetica no longer protects your company. This means that:
- Safetica Clients stop working.
- Safetica Clients that are offline when the licenses expire will keep working until they connect to the internet and receive new settings.
- Audit stops working: No records will be collected or sent.
- Protection stops working: Protection policies will no longer be applied. You will still be able to view your list of policies and data classifications.
- Alerts stop working: Alerts will not be sent anymore, and you will not be able to create new ones.
- Reports stop working: Reports will not be sent anymore, and you will not be able to create new ones.
- Microsoft 365 protection stops working: No audit, protection, or mobile support for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, or Outlook. Microsoft 365 protection will be in an error state, so you should:
- Deactivate the protection of Exchange Online, Outlook, and SharePoint Online in the Cloud services section.
- If you have mail flow rules set up for your Exchange Online, please disable them.
- If you use the Email Protection for Safetica add-in, please uninstall it in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Even after license expiration, you will still be able to:
- Access the Safetica console.
- Download old reports created prior to license expiration.
- Browse old records collected prior to license expiration.
- Manage devices (e.g. uninstalling Safetica Client).
- Manage users.
- Safetica hosted on-premises: Use your old records in data analytics tools (such as Power BI or Tableau).
- Safetica hosted on-premises: Manage BitLocker encryption.
What happens after license renewal
Once you renew your licenses, Safetica will start working again as before.
