Introducing Safetica Cloud Protection

Introduction

Safetica Cloud Protection helps companies to:

1. Protect their data in Microsoft 365 environments.
2. Extend policies to the cloud to ensure that cloud-based data are accessed and shared securely.
3. Audit and control data accessed from company devices, personal (BYOD) devices, or even mobile phones - as long as a company Microsoft 365 account was used to perform the action.

Right now, Safetica Cloud Protection protects data in Microsoft 365. You can activate two key features:

1. Microsoft 365 email protection: Audit and protect every email sent by your Microsoft 365 users.
   • Gain visibility into email activity: Gain insight into emails (both with and without attachments) sent by your Microsoft 365 users via Outlook on the web.
   • Prevent sensitive attachments from leaving via Outlook on the web: Activate our Outlook add-in to block emails that violate your policies before they are sent (will be available in the near future). 
2. Microsoft 365 file protection: Audit and protect file activity in SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
   • Audit and block file sharing:  Audit and block both internal and external file-sharing activities. Control to whom your files are shared via Microsoft 365 and protect these files from possible data loss.
   • Audit file uploads to / downloads from Microsoft 365.

In the future, Safetica Cloud Protection will integrate with other cloud environments as well (e.g. Google Workspace).
