⭐ New
- Insights: Safetica provides great insights on many fronts. The Insights section highlights to admins where they should put their attention and efforts first. It is one single place where interesting insights from all across Safetica console come together and are consolidated into a focused task list. This way, admins don't have to click through Safetica console to find security issues. In Insights, you can:
-
- Investigate with the help of AI: Click the special Summarize button and generate an AI summary of the incident.
- Investigate with the help of related reports: Click the Related records button and see exactly what happened. A new tab opens with the specific records of what occurred so that you can check the risk, the classification, the classification detail, etc.
- Share insights: Share specific insights with other Safetica admins so that they can investigate them on their own. Just open the insight detail and copy its ID link into the clipboard.
- Close resolved insights: After you finish investigating, close the insight. It will disappear from the insight list, keeping it fresh with unresolved tasks.
Learn more about Insights in these articles:
- Policies with dynamic action: Policies with dynamic action tailor protection to the needs and behavior patterns of individual users. Unlike traditional policies, which are inflexible and only allow or block operations without nuance, policies with dynamic action smartly adapt to how individual users interact with sensitive data. If a user works with a larger volume of sensitive data than their peers in the company, the policy and its action will gradually become stricter.
Learn more about policies with dynamic action in this article:
- Privileged access: Turn off policy protection for a selected user for a limited time (1 hour, 6 hours, or until the end of the day). During this time, the user can perform operations that would normally be blocked or notified by data policies. Learn more about Privileged access here.
- New, optimized content analysis technology: Our new content analysis technology provides more accurate results, supports more file types, and has a lower performance impact. It will also enable smarter data classification in the future.
- Protect files for which content analysis fails: You can now create special data classifications for files that were encrypted or could not be analyzed for sensitive content.
- Notify and Block (with override) for files shared via SharePoint:
- If you have a notification policy set up for M365 file sharing, and a user shares a file that triggers this policy, the user will receive an email urging them to consider unsharing the file if it contains sensitive data that should not be shared.
- If you have a block (with override) policy set up for M365 file sharing, and a user shares a file that triggers this policy, the user will receive an email with a link to a form where they can add the reason for overriding the blocking policy.
SharePoint protection and Exchange protection (with installed Outlook add-in) now support all policy actions (Log, Notify, Block (with override), and Block).
- Exclude web domains from Safetica protection: You can define trusted servers that will be excluded from Safetica protection - just add them to Settings > Protection exclusions > Excluded websites.
