  • Control when insights are triggered - per policy: For every policy, you can now choose when insights will be triggered. This helps reduce noise and highlight what matters most. In each policy’s settings, you can choose when insights should be triggered:

    • Default (let Safetica decide to trigger an insight).

    • Always (trigger a high-severity insight on every policy violation). Use Always for critical policies where you want to know about every violation – this now works even for logging policies.

    • Never (the policy will not trigger insights). Use Never for low-priority policies or if the policy generates too many unnecessary insights.

You’ll also see a new Insights column in the policy overview, and a quick action in each insight to jump directly to the related policy settings. Policy actions are now also shown in Insight details to give more context.

This setting affects the following insights:

  • Data policy violation
  • Data policy violation (with override)
  • Blocked application
  • Blocked website
  • External device policy violation

Insights based on other reasons (such as High or medium-risk operation, Unusual sensitive data activity, etc.) will be triggered regardless of this setting.

You can learn more about this feature here.

  • AirDrop protection: We’re now able to secure data operations performed via AirDrop. With a properly configured data policy, you can prevent any unintended data leaks through this channel. AirDrop now appears as a new destination type, so you can filter and track it across the product and apply the same security rules as for other transfer methods.
