⭐ New

  • Protection exclusion: You can now exclude problematic devices from Safetica’s protection. These are devices that may not function correctly with Safetica - such as security tokens or similar devices. Since these devices don’t necessarily require protection, you now have the flexibility to exclude them.

🛠️ Fixed

  • Exports now include timestamps reflecting the user’s detected timezone instead of UTC, ensuring consistency with what's visible in Safetica console.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

  • Redesign of the Protection exclusions section: We have redesigned the section for better clarity and usability. This update lays the groundwork for an upcoming extension, where you will be able to exclude problematic devices and applications.

Safetica 11.6.25 (February 13, 2025)

⭐ New

  • Create database archives from Safetica console: Archiving comes with granular archive settings, the list of available archives, and the archives' status. Archives support both the Express SQL servers and the full SQL servers. Learn more here.
  • Admin trail: The new Admin trail feature helps you track the history of activities performed by administrators in Safetica console, providing clarity and insight into administrators' behavior. You can find it under Settings > Audit trail. It requires special permissions, which can be managed in the Accounts and Permissions section. Learn more about Admin trail here.
  • Select the location for your M365 tenant: You can now select where your data should be processed and choose between Europe and the United States. Learn more here.
  • New character sets for OCR: Safetica OCR now newly supports Arabic, Hebrew, Kazakh, and Mongolian character sets.
  • In the list of active Outlook add-ins, you can now see both BYOD and Safetica-protected devices.
  • Customize the Users section: You can now customize the Users table by selecting specific columns and creating layouts

    • Sign in to Safetica Console with domain accounts: You can sync accounts from Active Directory (AD) security groups and use them to sign in to Safetica console. Learn more here.

    • New unified button visuals and behavior
      • Buttons across Safetica console have been unified, visually and technologically.
      • The updated design aims to improve usability but also to resolve historical technical bugs and non-working flows.

    Safetica 11.6.18 (January 14, 2025)

    • 🍏Classify files modified by apps on macOS: You can now classify files created or modified by apps from different categories on macOS devices, enabling full classification coverage within the macOS environments.
    • Data destinations: Destinations displayed in the Data destination section were revised to unify user experience.
